2024-25 National teams

National teams Overview:

The National Teams includes the very best athletes at Kongo. The goal of all Kongo National Teams is for the high visibility that comes from playing on a national stage against high level competition. At this level, performance is critical and playing time can not be guaranteed.

Included in Club Fees:

1. Season Duration: November 2024 - April 2025

2. Practice Sessions: 2 per week

3. Tournaments:

   • 1-3 Local

   •  2-3 Regional (ex: Champions Challenge, Southern Utah Grand Prix, Eastern Idaho Grand Prix)

   • 1 National (Salt Lake City Showdown)

4. Kongo 2025 Summer Camps

5. Uniforms and Gear:

   • 3 Jerseys

   • 2 Practice Shirts

   • 1 Sweatshirt

     • Optional Add-ons​

       • Kongo Backpack​

       • Swing shirt

       • Joggers

       • & More

Additional/Extra Costs:

• 1-3 National Qualifier Travel Tournaments (TBD)

  • Additional fees required in association with higher registration cost, coaching staff accommodations and travel expenses

  • Athletes and accompanying parties are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses

    • For stay-to-play tournaments, Kongo admin will organize hotel room blocks and booking instructions

• National Championship Tournament

  • AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships

  • AAU National Volleyball Festival Championships

  • USAV Girls Junior National Championship

    • Participation contingent upon team qualification and will incur additional fees

      • Fees cover 1-month extended practice season, coaching staff accommodations and travel expenses. Athletes and accompanying parties are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses.

• Playing time not guaranteed

• USAV and AAU Memberships required: Players need to obtain memberships in these organizations separately.

• Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm (info meeting directly following Day 1 tryouts
